Work Environment: Hybrid
Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building
In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island
Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area
Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area
Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations
 
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancements of a new OSI SCADA and associated applications.
  • Assist in the delivery of orientating related to SCADA systems.
  • Assist in systems integration of new SCADA system(s), associated applications and field devices.
  • Work with main SCADA vendor(s) to resolve system issues. 
  • Respond to queries from SCADA system operators. 
  • Provide assistance to operations for outage diagnostic.
  • Developing ‘canned’ and custom reports for system users.  
  • Serve on the "On Call" list for SCADA system outages.
  • Other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
 
 
 
 
 
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
  • Technical Diploma in electrical, electronic, computer systems or related engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SCADA Systems
  • Knowledge of SCADA, RTU, PLC and control systems and components used for the generation, transmission and distribution of power.
  • Knowledge of data communications protocols, networking equipment and computer operating systems.
